Since it’s inception it has been working with the poor people of the community for their socieo- economic development. VARD started its work in Sylhet at the beginning. Now it is working in 55 Upazilas under 10 districts of Bangladesh. We have planned to expand it’s activities to in wider areas with an integrating development approach in rural and urban areas.   This website will reflect the achievements of VARD which it has achieved during years 1988 to 2008. We tried to serve the community to the best of our ability. We have achieved many of our targets and in this process; we have learned many lessons on development that motivate us to keep on improving our organization and our services.   We acknowledge with gratitude the support of all development partners, donors, government Ministries / Departments and all of my colleagues.
